| Your future career, what about ? |
As explained earlier, we also train squadron pilots to be QFI’s (Qualified Flying Instructors) who will then be able to train new aircrew and pass on their skills and knowledge.
You can obtain two types of QFI status :
First is to serve alongside your squadron career.
Second is to be a permanent part of the team at CFS (Central Flying School).
Both of which are extremely prestigious postings and as such are much sought after and require pilots to meet a very high standard of ability. You will be responsible for helping the school provide the best trained aircrew. Who knows, you may help to train a future squadron colleague !
Whichever route you chose to take you can bes ure that your training will be informative and rewarding. Should you have any questions regarding any aspect of your training, don’t hesitate to ask any member of CFS staff who will gladly assist. Alternatively you can post queries in the CFS section of the forum if there are no QFI staff available.
Thank you for choosing RAFvirtual.com and we wish you every success with us and with your chosen squadron. We look forward to assisting you through your training
